we boarded a plane that took us from Beijing to Guangzhou.
Six months ago today . . .
we anxiously waited at the Civil Affairs Office with nine other waiting families who had become our good friends.
Six months ago today . . .
we were introduced to Hai Xiao Juan, our daughter that we'd been praying for for so long.
Six months ago today . . .
we held our precious Samara in our arms for the first time.
Six months ago today . . .
we witnessed her smile for the first time and heard her laugh for the first time.
Six months ago today . . .
we fed her a bottle for the first time.
Six months ago today . . .
we watched her peacefully sleep (and saw the adorable finger sucking) for the first time.
Six months ago today . . .
our lives were changed forever and we were blessed with Samara.
Thank you Lord for this awesome gift and the joy she has added to our lives.

I have been following your blog for more than six months but six months ago today I think I saw those pictures of your new daughter also. I just remember thinking how she was the most beautiful baby! You have been truly blessed, congrat's on your six months!!

Six months - where has the time gone. It was a long journey but what a wonderful culmination! Look how she's grown and how she has become such a wonderful little toddler! Not missing out on anything. She certainly has enriched our family. May God bless you as you continue to raise this wonderful gift!
