So we received another update this week on Denver. We got some information about his growth development and some of the milestones he's reached. Yep . . . pretty tough being a mama to a baby on the other side of the world! Anyway, when we received the update, I had to do a double take when I first looked at the pictures. Could this be my son? I recognized the big bright eyes and all his other handsome features . . . but he was wearing a very pretty, pink sleeper! Obviously pink is not associated with girls in Ethiopia but because it is here, we all found it kind of funny. I'm sure Denver's going to love the pictures of himself in a pink sleeper when he gets bigger. LOL!
25 more sleeps until our court date!!! Please keep praying that we'll get through the first time.

Fingers crossed for that court date. Glad that you got an update.

Hoping you get through court quickly. What happens then? How long until you can travel to get him?
Hey..Grandpa said maybe its "Salmon" not pink hahahah.
It must be super tough to see your little guy growing up through pics. ((hugs))
Praying you get through court the very first day!!
Looking forward to next Saturday!!!
Awww...Karen, I can't imagine how hard that is. But isn't it awesome knowing that God is with little Denver even when you can't be! Hoping the court date comes soon!
Hang in there...enjoy your updates. Maybe he can have a pink room when he comes home!

Praying you will get through right away! And don't worry about the sleeper. When we were in Africa, ALL of the children just wear whatever. We saw little boys in girls clothes and vice versa. I don't think they really care. :-)
You will be in my thoughts...wishing you the best of luck for your firt court date!!

Only 25?!?!?!? Wow, it seemed like it would be so long and now it's almost here. Praying for a successful first court date.

Hoping your date sticks! Sounds like we are on the same date path to meet our babies in one more month.
