We've only been home for a month but this past Saturday we had our first reunion with our China travel group. After spending 17 days together in China and becoming really close, we've had a bit of withdrawal being away from each other. It's amazing how strong of a bond we have formed with these friends. These are people we shared an amazing journey with and they were right there beside us as we welcomed Samara into our arms. We shared our excitement and frustration during the long wait, shared our joys and concerns in China and now we still keep in touch via email. Needless to say, it was so good to see everyone again on Saturday. We missed those who were unable to make it - Darcy and Donna, Dave and Jayne, Kirk and Debbie - hopefully we'll be able to see you soon too!
Here are a few pictures from Saturday. Thank you Paul and Angela for welcoming us into your beautiful home.

What a wonderful time it sounds like. I look forward to the day that we get to experience that.
Keep smilin!
That is so wonderful that you formed such a strong bond with those that know exactly what it was like. A wonderful group to have and that room is overflowing with cuteness!
I love that you live close enough to the people you travelled with so that you can do these get togethers often!!
I'm 10 hrs from the rest of our group!!! :(
Soooo sad!!
Samara is just beautiful!!!
Wow! Looks like a great time! The babaies must have thought they had hit the "friend" jackpot!
How wonderful to get together so soon after returning. It's a treat for the girls to see one another I'm sure.
Here's to many more travel group reunions!
FUN FUN FUN!!! Love the pictures, and I hear the bonds are really tight - and life long. I can't wait to get to that point.
How great that you had a chance to get together with everyone again!
I hope the girls enjoyed it!
